Kula; a new (and cost friendly!) way to explore events and expand your practice

Coming to a routine of classes underpins the benefits a Yoga practice offers, but it is the events that offer real opportunity to take your practice and inspiration further. From Cacao ceremonies to Yoga Mala’s, Sound Baths and Movement Workshops there is something new to expand your horizons… However, following the Covid-19 Pandemic and the Cost of Living Crisis, we have found that access to wider study around Yoga has been (and continues to be!) impacted - and we wanted to come up with a way to solve that issue. With this in mind, we’ve decided to shake it up for September. Enter: Kūla. Our new, bolt-on membership, giving members unparalleled access to our events calendar and much more - and all for a very reasonable, cost-saving monthly price.

Kūla is the Sanskrit word for Community, chosen by us because we really felt it encompassed what we were trying to achieve. Think of Kūla as a sort of unique community within Yoga x Life Studios which offers you an expanded opportunity to nourish your body and soul.

A Kūla membership is just £15 a month and can be bolted on to your existing YxL membership, or purchased standalone for £25 a month. As with all our memberships there is a basic 3 month commitment before it rolls monthly, and it entitles you to…

  • 1 x event every month

  • Early booking access

  • 10% discount in the shop and cafe

  • Exclusive, quarterly, Kūla Socials at the studio’s Life Bar

  • An exclusive weekly newsletter from founders Chris and Debbie Seth-Jackson, with meditation and movement practices, journal prompts and much more.

  • Access to an online library of classes (usually costing £9 a month)

With events usually costing between £25 and £40 a ticket, Kūla members can enjoy a significant discount, and experience much more than they would usually do for their money.

Kūla memberships kick in from 1 September 2024, and there are 3 events to choose from for that first credit.

On 20 Septmber we have the Celebration of the Equinox on 20 September 2024, and community members will be able to choose from a Yoga Mala or a Cacao Ceremony. We’re also hosting a Sound Bath with Andrew Lovell, on 28 September.

Plus, in October, Kūla Members will also be able to use their credit to attend the official launch party featuring DJ Karuna, joining us all the way from Ibiza. More to come on this event.

The full event schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
