“Hi, I’m Bridget.
I am 200 hour qualified yoga teacher from Newcastle, certified with Yoga Alliance. I’ve been practicing yoga since I was a teenager, and it has become a huge part of my day-to-day life.
For me, yoga provides a calming space to nurture the mind-body connection and return to the present moment. The benefit that yoga has had on my physical and mental wellbeing is what led me to complete my teacher training, so that I am able to share this practice with others.
My intention when teaching is to create a safe and comfortable space where everyone feels welcome, with a focus on safe alignment, smooth transitions and allowing the breath to guide you through the sequence.
My classes are a flowing form of Vinyasa, uniting breath with movement.
A typical class involves a deeply relaxing warm-up followed by a strengthening and releasing sequence, always with atmospheric music. Each class will focus on a different theme and all levels are welcome. Variations of postures will always be provided so that students can tune into their personal practice.”
